Oh what a nice Q&A ;) I have missed to put my own Q in, but i enjoyed your answers.

;) i´m very tall too...i made it up to 6'2".

And although i sometimes feel like a alien, now i discovered my vintage self i more and more enjoy to wear heels above 1" ;)

No complaining of height allowed! 5'10.5 would be easy! I'm a 6'0 girl who loves her 4-6 inch heels and only owns 3 pairs of flats.
Just love your height... Now that I have finally met a group of 6'5-6'6 boys, I find myself going into full pointe to try and challenge their height. Being a giantess is fun when you embrace it :D

I use Lily Lolo foundation, too! I think it is just about the most brilliant make-up I've discovered in years (I'm only picky about concealer and mascara -- Maybelline discontinued my favourite kind, so I have to get it sent to me by my friends in the US).

Your history is SO similar to mine. I too was slightly 'alternative' as a teen...stringy hair parted in the middle, grungy clothes, and I still have my 13 eye docs which i wore religiously. My taste in films naturally began to draw me farther into the past, however, and once I realized that there WERE options to dress in retro clothing, I never looked back. I do still wear my jeans and bandanas, tank tops and chucks. But thank goodness for retro reproduction!

I find it interesting how people change their image and I love the way you once aptly described dressing in vintage as 'the grown up version of alternative dressing' as I think that is exactly what it is - and that's coming from a girl that used to wear Nirvana t-shirts and red doc martens!! I like your taste in men and books ;-) And also go by an alias - I use my middle name too - only because my parents started calling me by it because my first named was deemed too boring and common.

On the fantasy front - Are you familiar with the writing of Tad Williams? He is possibly my favourite epic fantasy author (a Brit too) - you must read the Memory, Sorrow and Thorn trilogy...it was my LOTR and held much more magic for me. Truly great story.

I would never have picked Garth Marenghi as your favourite! It's one of mine too. I'm completely envious of all the good British comedy you must have access to, Australian humour isn't quite the same...My all time favourite is The Young Ones - rather lowbrow, but hilarious all the same!

I so enjoyed reading this! :) Especially about how your style has morphed over time; sometimes I wonder if I'm the only one who tends to have gone through "style explorations". lol.

That's also great to find out that you don't dilute the Lottabody setting lotion. I finally picked up a bottle a few weeks ago, and just haven't had time to try it yet. Shall have to put that on my to-do list for tonight! ;)
