So anyway, here are some things that the fog didn't obscure.
The Blackbird Tea Rooms (and their loos) were lovely!
The ghost pier was ghostly!
I wore: a vintage skirt
A Vivien of Holloway blouse
My Bali Elf bag...
Lots of bangles, including my Nike Fuelband...
...And a happy face!
Hope you're having great weeks, one and all.

Dear Fleur,
ReplyDeletei am not a commentwriter, but i have to tell you this: without you bang you look SO adorable!
Many greetings from Germany, Oxana
Very impressive the pier.
ReplyDeleteAwesome old packaging :)
ReplyDeleteAre you growing your fringe out? Either way, it looks très cute rolled into pin curls!
ReplyDeleteUndecided! It kind of works rolled back and down both, so I may keep it a bit longer!
DeleteI do like quirky tea rooms, alas, there are none even remotely near me!
ReplyDeleteLove your ensemble, especially your skirt. I bet the tea really hit the spot on such a murky day.
ReplyDeleteOh, but many parts of Brighton are so atmospheric in the fog! I went when it was boiling last Sat- it was TOO hot, crowded and the bins overflowing - you may have had a lucky break!
ReplyDeleteLovely photos and beautiful outfit. Shame about the fog but then it did create a mystery for the ghost pier photo.
ReplyDeleteEndometriosis my life with you
Ahhhh..that fog looks so refreshing and cool :-)
ReplyDelete((Coming from a sweltering Southern California))
I think England and So Cal need to switch weather systems for a bit!

What a wonderfully atmospheric setting for tea time.
ReplyDeleteThese photos look beautiful! I agree that pier does look very ghostly x
ReplyDeleteI was there once! But I never went to those tea rooms and didn´t look as stylish and I had a horrible cold... I sit here in Swedish Lapland and long for England. Must go next year!
ReplyDeletei love yor bangles...is there a bakelite one in there?
ReplyDeletethe yellow, red and both greens are bakelite :)
DeleteWhat a lovely outing - and you were both so stylish. Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteEven with the fog, everything is quite beautiful!
ReplyDeleteWas in Brighton the next day and it was very sunny! Next time in Brighton and wanting tea you might like;

Uberkitsch!
I love your vintage red skirt, that's definitely my style! Who Brain recommended a red skirt that I love, you might like it too.

It's probably a little "new" for you (you seem more 40s) but you should come to Southend and I'd happily take you to Bobby Jo's 50s diner. Especially as you said you like burgers in other posts!x
